Kashus Culpepper Announces Fall 2025 Tour

Rising country-Americana artist Kashus Culpepper has announced a headlining tour across the United States this fall, capping off what has already been a landmark year. The Alabama-born singer-songwriter, hailed by GRAMMY.com as one of 2025’s “Artists to Watch” and recently featured in Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood Impact Report, will bring his soulful Southern sound to venues in Florida, the Carolinas, Georgia, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Texas beginning November 6. Culpepper, who has drawn comparisons to Bill Withers “if he made country music,” according to Elton John, has been steadily building momentum with performances alongside Leon Bridges, Whiskey Myers and Sierra Ferrell. He made his national television debut earlier this year on CBS Saturday Morning, and his single “Broken Wing Bird,” featuring Ferrell, has earned strong praise from critics and fans alike. His upcoming single, “Believe,” is due out on August 22, the same day general ticket sales for the tour begin. In little more than a year since launching his recording career, Culpepper has emerged as one of the most talked-about new voices in country music. His husky vocals and raw storytelling have seen him sell out headline shows across the South, win a place on Apple Music’s and Amazon Music’s Artists to Watch lists, and join the Opry NextStage Class of 2025. He has also made high-profile festival appearances, including Stagecoach, C2C in London and Tortuga. The fall tour marks Culpepper’s first extended headlining run and will give fans across the country the chance to hear his blend of country, soul, blues and folk live. Tickets go on pre-sale August 20, with general on-sale beginning August 22 via his official website. To read more exclusive articles and latest news, see our last issue here. Phil Vassar Releases New Single “I Don’t Know What It Means”

Multi-platinum singer-songwriter Phil Vassar — long celebrated for his heartfelt storytelling and chart-topping country hits — will release his new single, “I Don’t Know What It Means,” on Friday, August 22. Promising to be one of the most personal and profound songs of his career, “I Don’t Know What It Means” was born from a life-altering experience — Phil died and came back to life. While it’s still difficult for him to talk about the moment itself, he did what he’s always done best: he wrote through it. Co-written alongside Dean Sams of Lonestar (who also produced the track) and Marty Dodson, “I Don’t Know What It Means” is a raw, honest, and soul-searching reflection on mortality, mystery, and the things we can’t quite explain. With his signature piano-driven melodies and emotionally charged vocals, Phil transforms this extraordinary experience into a universal story about what it means to truly live. Luke Bryan Claims 32nd Number One Career Single

Five-time Entertainer of the Year Luke Bryan has claimed the 32nd #1 single of his career with “Country Song Came On.” Released via MCA the song, which is also the title of his 2025 headline tour, was written by Ryan Beaver, Dan Alley and Neil Medley and appears on Luke’s Mind Of A Country Boy album released last fall. The video was directed by Kate Rentz and made its premiere on CMT, CMT MUSIC and CMT Equal Play and debuted on the Paramount Times Square Billboard. “When I first heard this song, it took me right back to the clubs and honky tonks I played before I got to Nashville,” said Luke. “I love how the writers kept the simplicity in the track and let the lyric paint the story. WOW #32! I love standing on that stage for country fans more than ever. Thank you for showing up for me.” This week, Luke will perform during the 18th Academy of Country Music Honors taking place in Nashville. At last year’s event Luke was chosen to receive the ACM Lifting Lives Award, honouring the contributions of Gary Haber, known as a business manager and past president of ACM Lifting Lives. The award is presented to a country music artist, duo/group, or industry professional who is devoted to improving lives through the power of music, has a generosity of spirit, and is committed to serving others as voted on by the ACM Lifting Lives Board of Directors. Miranda Lambert’s Flood Relief Fund Donates $350K

Country star Miranda Lambert’s MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund has provided more than $350,000 to support over 20 animal shelters and organisations across Texas, New Mexico and New Jersey following devastating floods earlier this month. Lambert, whose home state of Texas was among the hardest hit, said she was deeply moved by the tragedy. “Texas is my home state and the tragedy that took so many lives – and forever changed so many others – left me without words to express my heartbreak. All I knew was that I wanted to help,” she said. “I’m grateful that our Fund could quickly jump into action. We started it so we could immediately respond to the needs of animal shelters and rescues after a natural disaster, and it’s always incredible to see it in action during times like this.” After Texas, floods also struck New Mexico and New Jersey, where the fund provided immediate aid to local shelters struggling with the aftermath. Tractor Supply’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Kimberley Gardiner called the donations a lifeline, saying they were more than financial support: “They’re a lifeline to animals and the people working tirelessly to care for them.” Beyond direct relief, Lambert is leading fundraising efforts for Texas recovery with a benefit concert alongside fellow Texan Parker McCollum on August 17 at the Moody Center in Austin. The concert will feature Cody Johnson, Kelly Clarkson, Lyle Lovett, Ronnie Dunn, Matthew McConaughey and others, with proceeds going to The Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and Central Texas Community Foundation. Founded in 2023, the MuttNation-Tractor Supply Relief For Rescues Fund has raised more than $1.6 million and allocated over $1.1 million for disaster relief, supporting animals and shelters after floods, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes and other natural disasters.
