Tortuga music festival announces lineup with Jason Aldean and Lainey Wilson

Rock the Ocean’s Tortuga Music Festival has announced the lineup for the 11th ocean-side festival. Taking place April 5-7, 2024 in Fort Lauderdale, Tortuga 2024 will feature performances from a variety of acts including headliners Jason Aldean, HARDY and CMA Entertainer Of The Year Lainey Wilson, as well as icons Bret Michaels, TLC and Boyz II Men. Tickets go on sale next Friday, December 1 at 10am EST. Artists including Cooper Alan, Kassi Ashton, Black Opry, Priscilla Block, Boyz II Men, Jackson Dean, Dee Jay Silver, Russell Dickerson, DJ Rock, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Charles Wesley Godwin, Brian Kelley, Jon Langston, Long Beach Dub Allstars, Chase Matthew, Ashley McBryde, Bret Michaels, Old Dominion, Parmalee, Shwayze, Red Clay Strays, Teddy Swims, Tigirlily Gold, TLC, Turnpike Troubadours, Koe Wetzel, Wheeland Brothers, Warren Zeiders and Bailey Zimmerman. The festival will also feature a stage dedicated to emerging acts based out of Nashville, the Next From Nashville Stage; the 2024 lineup includes Sadie Bass, Annie Bosko, The Castellows, Kolby Cooper, Logan Crosby, Hannah Ellis, Dylan Gossett, HunterGirl, Greylan James, Meg McRee, Peytan Porter, Josh Ross, Austin Snell, Anne Wilson and Stephen Wilson Jr.. Charles Esten announces 2024 UK/Europe tour

Multi-talented singer-songwriter and actor Charles Esten has today announced that he will be returning to the UK/Europe in April 2024, for headline shows in the UK, Germany, Netherlands, Denmark and Norway. Commenting on his return to the UK and Europe, Esten shared, “Some of my earliest musical performances were way back in 1991 playing Buddy Holly in the hit West End musical ‘BUDDY’. That’s when I began my love affair with UK audiences who – quite literally – danced in the aisles. Four years ago, I was pretty heartbroken when the first COVID lockdowns meant that my debut C2C O2 Arena headline performance was to be cancelled, and ever since that day, I have been dreaming of and praying for a return to the UK. That dream first came true in October when I was blessed to be a part of the amazing Nashville Reunion Tour. Then, as that was successfully wrapping up, I received the confirmed schedule for my own return solo tour. And I damn near cried. Mary Gauthier’s career retrospective to start in 2024

Grammy-nominated singer/songwriter and accomplished author, Mary Gauthier has announced a very special tour for the UK and Ireland in April and May 2024. In these unique career retrospective shows, Mary will perform a selection of audience favourites from all eleven of her studio records, accompanied by her partner, Jaimee Harris, who will also open the shows.   Like the troubadours of old, Mary will sing her much loved songs under the spotlight, telling stories of her thirty years of performing her own music around the world, an experience that has helped her understand and personally experience the redemptive power of songs and songwriting. GRAMMY-nominated singer songwriter Lainey Wilson has announced ‘Wildflowers and Wild Horses’ as her next single, following Wilson’s television debut performance of the song at the 57th Annual CMA Awards, in Nashville, Tennessee last week. As the third single off her critically acclaimed, award-winning album, ‘Bell Bottom Country’, ‘Wildflowers and Wild Horses’ is a reflective tale of Wilson’s life; “barefoot and bareback”. The soulful yet Southern track, accompanied by Wilson’s signature sound, blends elements of Western, Rock, and Americana, to bring forth a modern but stil traditional country song as an ode to her roots. Wilson also earned her first ever nominations for the 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards last week. Joining Chesney is the Zac Brown Band, enjoying their 12th CMA Group of the Year nomination; 2023 CMA Song of the Year and New Artist nominee Megan Moroney; and multiple-week No. 1 ‘When The Sun Goes Down’ duet partner Uncle Kracker, known for his own hits ‘Follow Me’ and ‘Drift Away.’ “I wanted a name that suggested – obviously – when all the good stuff starts to happen. The one thing I’ve learned about No Shoes Nation and these stadium shows is they start the good times early and they just keep it going,” Chesney says of his 2024 tour name. “But we all know, when the sun goes down, that’s when people really get loose and enjoy themselves. “That was the thing about Uncle Kracker and my song. It captured a vibe and a moment so perfectly. No matter how much fun you’re having all day long, ‘everything gets hotter when the sun goes down…’ I know from years of experience that’s true. “So, I can’t wait to get back out there, stadium-sized ’cause there’s nothing like 60,000 members of No Shoes Nation singing these songs. It’s gonna be awesome.” Kicking off April 20, 2024 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, the tour will run through August 23 at Foxborough, Mass.’s Gillette Stadium for what has become a tradition: closing out the tour in a venue Chesney has played to well over a million people. Gareth Dunlop Announces London Show on November 16th

  Belfast-born singer-songwriter and accomplished producer, Gareth Dunlop, is set to captivate London with his soulful melodies and mesmerising Synth-pop sound. He has announced a full-band headline show at Soho’s The Lower Third, on November 16th 2023. This highly anticipated performance will be supported by powerhouse singer-songwriter Simeon Hammond Dallas.   Dunlop has a unique ability to connect with fans through his recordings, but there is nothing quite like his live performances. Over the years, his talent has been endorsed by a remarkable list of legendary artists, earning Dunlop support slots with music legends such as Van Morrison, Snow Patrol, James Morrison, Stereophonics, Bonnie Raitt, Foy Vance, and Jeff Beck, among others. In addition to TV, his work has been a part of major motion pictures like ‘The Best Of Me’, ‘Safe Haven’, ‘The Visitor’, as well as gracing TV commercials for Disney, Subaru, and more, solidifying his status as a versatile artist.   Spanning an impressive 15-year career, Gareth Dunlop has cultivated a dedicated following with his hit track ‘Wrap Your Arms Around Me’ reaching almost 5 million streams on Spotify.   Inspired by icons such as Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, and Tom Waits, plus a soupçon of Pink Floyd, Dunlop’s musical journey began at 14 when he picked up a guitar and began performing both covers and original songs in live venues around Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, and the rest of the UK. Dunlop went on to win the Young Songwriter of the Year award in Belfast in 2011, an achievement that not only led to collaborations with seasoned writers in Nashville but also saw him employed as a staff writer for major music publishers.
