On 15th December, ‘Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90 Live At The Hollywood Bowl’ will be released in a special digital edition of his live birthday performance. The digital edition of ‘Long Story Short: Willie Nelson 90 Live At The Hollywood Bowl’ features 52 performances including 13 digital-only bonus tracks exclusive to this release. So far, four preview tracks have been released including Dave Matthews doing ‘Funny How Time Slips Away’, The Avett Brothers performing ‘Pick Up The Tempo’, Willie’s son Lukas delivering a gorgeous version of ‘Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground’ and a just-released, all-star chorus of dozens of guests joining Willie for a rendition of ‘On The Road Again’ coupled with ‘Happy Birthday’. 2023 has proved a banner year for Willie, who recorded two new studio albums for ‘Legacy: I Don’t Know a Thing About Love’ (Willie’s musical tribute to legendary American songwriter Harlan Howard, released in March) and ‘Bluegrass’ (Willie performing 12 of his favorite self-penned classics with a bluegrass ensemble). Released 15th September, Willie’s ‘Bluegrass’ entered the Billboard Bluegrass Albums chart at number one, marking his first appearance on the chart in its 21-year history.
