Kane Brown

Kane Brown celebrates nine weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country album chart

Multi-platinum selling artist Kane Brown holds steady at the top of the charts for a 9th week as his self-titled debut album remains #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. Since his debut album released on Dec. 2, 2016, Brown’s album has held the #1 slot for more weeks than any other album and has held the #1 album position for 7 out of 9 weeks in 2018.  Additionally, Brown has the most streamed country album of the year (2018). A double ACM Award nominee, Brown is currently nominated for ACM’s New Male Vocalist Of The Year and Vocal Event Of The Year (“What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina), and has remained country music’s best-selling new artist debut of the past four years. Brown’s Gold-Certified single “Heaven” is #1 for a third consecutive week on Nielsen’s On Demand Audio Core Country Streaming chart and is approaching top 10 on Country radio (#12 on Billboard and #11 on Mediabase). “Heaven” replaced Brown’s Double-Platinum certified “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina at the top of the chart. 2018’s most-streamed song, “What Ifs” has held #1 for 18 weeks on Nielsen’s On Demand Audio Core Country Streaming chart. Brown first topped the Billboard Top Country Albums chart with the release of his self-titled debut album in 2016 (Kane Brown) and again with the release of Kane Brown Deluxe Edition in 2017, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums and Top 5 on Billboard 200 Charts. That same week, the singer-songwriter became the first-ever artist to top all 5 Billboard Country Charts with his breakthrough #1 Top Country Album; #1 debuting Country Digital Song, “Heaven”; and #1 Country Airplay, Hot Country Song and Country Streaming Song, the Double-Platinum “What Ifs” featuring Lauren Alaina.  The 24-year-old entertainer also made history in 2015 when his country EP made the highest debut in the Nielsen SoundScan era.
