Two-time Grammy nominated DJ Avicii is climbing the radio charts with his country-infused track, Hey Brother. This new single follows the worldwide smash single Wake Me Up. Both are taken from his critically acclaimed album TRUE. Rolling Stone has called Hey Brother one of the album’s “most progressive cuts, straddling country and EDM.” The track was produced and co-written by Avicii and features vocals by the renowned bluegrass singer and composer Dan Tyminski (Union Station). Hey Brother was added to Z100 NY, and climbed to number 39 on the Alternative chart, number 13 on the Hot AC, number 35 on Top 40 and number 26 on AAA. The accompanying music video was directed by Jesse Sternbaum and tells the emotional story of two brothers during wartime America.

It’s been 20 years since Charlie Landsborough shot to fame with ‘What Colour Is The Wind’. And the song still gets played on National radio. But the story doesn’t end there. Over the years Charlie’s released some 27 albums and a plethora of singles winning fans across the globe. His melodic, lyrical brand of Americana and finely honed ballads have touched hearts all over the world while the stories that intersperse his live performance are worth the price of admission alone. Charlie’s reputation as a top class entertainer continues to grow and he has won about every possible award in County music including, the Best Male Vocalist at the British Country Music Association Awards three years in a row and most of his 25 albums achieved the number one spot and is well on his way to selling 2,000.000 units. This has resulted in him being inducted into The British Country Music Hall Of Fame. Charlie and his band will take to the road again this Spring to play a handful of selected dates across the UK. Always delivering a terrific night out, the dates come as the sequel to his successful 2013 Autumn Tour with its Amateur Choir Challenge. (Certain gigs played host to a local choir, all set up by Charlie and all in the cause of Children In Need.) The new dates see Charlie playing tracks from his latest CD ‘Silhouette’ as well as much loved favourites from the past. He is joined by his regular band for what promises to be an exceptional evening of music, good humour and inspirational playing. Indeed, as BBC TV’s Gerry Anderson so aptly put it: “Charlie’s like good wine, he matures quietly over a long period of time, when the cork was popped it was well worth the wait”!
